Outflow

Privacy Policy

Effective 12 June 2026

Outflow does not collect any data. None.

Everything you enter in Outflow — subscriptions, prices, notes, imported receipts — is stored only on your device. Outflow has no server, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network connections to us, because there is no "us" infrastructure to connect to.

On-device intelligence

Smart Paste (text, photo and PDF reading) runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks. The content you import is never transmitted anywhere.

iCloud, Shareflows and backup

Two optional features use your own iCloud account, and it is worth being precise about what that means. Shareflows (sharing chosen subscriptions with a partner or household) and iCloud Backup move data through Apple's iCloud under your Apple Account — not through any server of ours, because we do not operate one. We cannot see, read or recover that data. If you never turn either feature on, nothing leaves your device at all. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Income and Inflows

If you use Inflows to record money arriving, it is treated exactly like everything else: stored on your device, never transmitted to us, and never shown in the shareable yearly review as an amount. The year card can say that you track income; it never says how much.

Purchases

The optional Pro unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.

Your data, your control

Deleting the app deletes its data. You can export your subscriptions to CSV at any time (Pro).

This website

Everything above is about the app. This website (outflowapp.org) uses no cookies, no tracking scripts and no advertising. Our host, Cloudflare, counts requests to each page in aggregate — how many, from which country and kind of device — and we read those totals to learn which pages help people. They contain nothing that identifies you, and we never combine them with anything else. The Subscription Finder runs in your browser and never sends what you paste anywhere. On the free-Pro page, the optional “Did the code work?” buttons send only your answer, any note you choose to type, and the two-letter country Cloudflare reports — plus a one-way code made from your network address that changes every day and is used only to stop repeat submissions. We use it to know when the free codes have run out.

Any future change to this policy will be posted on this page. Questions: contact us via a support request.
