Loved Bobby? Outflow is the modern version of the same idea.
Bobby earned a devoted following by proving a subscription tracker doesn't need your bank account — just a clean list, local data, and a reminder before each bill. It is still on the App Store and still does that well. Where Outflow differs is what happens after the list: finding the subscriptions you have forgotten, and helping you actually cancel them.
Outflow is that alternative — built on Bobby's philosophy (local-only, no bank login, pay once), then extended with everything a 2026 iPhone can do.

What Bobby got right — and Outflow keeps
- Your data is yours. Everything on-device; optional backup goes to your own iCloud, never a developer server.
- Pay once. No subscription for a subscription tracker. Free for 5; Pro is a single $4.99 unlock.
- Calm design. One clear number, a clean list, no gamification.
What Bobby never got — and Outflow adds
Statement scanning that finds every recurring charge on-device, AI receipt paste, price-change history for every service, a payment calendar, a 12-month Trends chart, a shareable "Your Year", tags, smart alerts before the big yearly renewals, skip-a-payment for free weeks, widgets, Siri, and a proper iPad/Mac layout.
Shortlisting more than these two? We keep a sourced comparison of the iPhone subscription trackers people actually consider: best subscription tracker apps for iPhone (2026), with each app's last update date and where it beats ours.
